I'm just...I do concentrate on looking like him. I'm just thinking whether it is possible to sound like him. At least I try to imitate his voice and don't higher it when speaking. Luckily, I don't have the highest voice of all boys and girls.

I know that for many cosplayers the outside is what matters the most and nothing else. For me, the performance matters exceptionally alot with Jack Sparrow. I like to think cosplay also as imitating the characters. I would like to be a convincing Jack, that's why thinking how to lower my voice.pumpkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04392637378714010190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4527083730417623471.post-6940922580102590312010-05-12T13:37:09.646+03:002010-05-12T13:37:09.646+03:00Hey, it's me again, your lovely stalking anon....Hey, it's me again, your lovely stalking anon. I already talked about Fimo, so I'm gonna let that slide, but that stuff about syrup and rum made me wonder. Is that really necessary for you to SOUND like a man? I understand that when crossplaying one wishes to be as close to the character as possible (sounding like a man, smelling like a man, binding, stuffing, whatever), but you can't really change your voice just for a weekend and then go back to your normal, girly voice. I mean sure, start smoking and drinking and ya'll soon enough have the desired manly voice, but I doubt that's what you want. Just wondering, not bashing you or anything. : D Perhaps you could just concentrate on LOOKING the part and not sounding like him?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
